Details: It is difficult to imagine that this modern and stylish table was designed  60 years ago. The designers, John and Sylvia Reid, were employed by Stag Furniture from 1952 and this delightful table was part of their pioneering Stag S Range of dining room furniture. 

This 2018 reissue of the Stag S range was beautifully reproduced to exacting standards by Nicholas Radford of Nathan Furniture and Dominic Reid, son of John and Sylvia. The iconic range was originally launched by Stag furniture in 1960 and was heralded by Design Magazine as one of the "outstanding furniture ranges of the year".

With simple, clean lines and focusing on maximum function for the minimum space, the drop leaf table with matching teak veneer finish has two folding leaves which can be pulled out separately from the fixed centre section, to offer versatility of size and configuration.

Each leaf is supported by a swing-out leg in a brushed satin nickel metalwork finish. 

The cut away edge gives it its sixties characteristic look. The table is supported by four brushed satin nickel metalwork legs.

This exquisite furniture needs to be seen to truly appreciate the quality of design, manufacture and materials that are second to none!
