This exquisite ceramic lamp was produced in the 1960s and 70s by Einar Johansen for Soholm Keramikj. Johansen was a master of producing luminescent colour effects and this stunning lamp is no exception, with gradients of blues and black. The base is marked with number 1036 and the Soholm makers mark. A beautiful lamp on its own or as a complement to other Blue range Soholm ceramics. Soholm Ceramics of Bornholm are one of Denmark's most renowned mid century producers and their Stentoj (Stoneware) ranges from the 1960s onward make them highly collectable and durable, retaining quality of form and glaze.
