A fine example of Craven's love of large repeating patterns. The bold orange abstract design was created by hand with commercial interiors in mind, where the full scale of the design could be fully appreciated.

Details: Hull Traders was founded in Willesden, London in 1957 by Tristram Hull in partnership with Stanley Coren. Initially they hosted trade events where they showcased British design and craft, especially works created by fresh talent, before the company went on to specialise in textiles. Craven brought her dramatic style to the business in 1960s. She would go on to be the creative force that gave Hull Traders its international reputation for bold and innovative textiles that helped to create quintessential Sixties' interiors.
