Late 1960's Søholm Stentøj lidded ceramic stoneware jar.

Glazed design by Noomi Backhausen with form by Poul Brandborg for Søholm Stentøj, Denmark. Backhausen (B. 1938 – 2011) created work for Søholm Pottery from 1966 until 1990.

A neatly hand formed Mid Century stoneware jar with a blue hand painted design on a soft chalky ground. This is a striking Danish piece that will look beautiful in an interior with a soft Scandinavian colour palette. A collectible item that would be a perfect gift for a lover of Mid Century ceramics.
