Milo Baughman Style Large Vintage Italian made Large Wardrobe

This rare, majestic wardrobe is designed in the style of Milo Baughman.  It was likely produced in the 1990s from laminate in burl walnut effect and black. A quality set labelled as Model USA and Made in Italy.

Quality construction in burl walnut and black laminate, made in Italy.  There is a spacious hanging area above with two large, spacious drawers below.

The design leans heavily on Art Deco geometric shapes combined with the simplicity of form of Mid Century Modern design.

Milo Baughman was one of the USA’s most influential designers in the 20th Century with a career that spanned 70 years. He is best known for his designs for Thayer-Coggin, which have become synonymous with the California Design period of the 30s-late 60s.

Grand scale, impressive designs for large spaces that epitomised the American dream of wealth and success. His signature materials were glass lacquered wood veneer, chrome and laminate. 

This beautiful set is perfect for a large bedroom space and will not fail to impress.
