Mid Century Modern Avalon MODULA ladderax style three tier sideboard wall unit

A three-tier double-width Avalon furniture modular wall unit, from the MODULA range. Similar in style to Staples Ladderax range, the units can be set at varying heights making this a particularly attractive piece for anyone wishing to house their large screen TV and/or music system.

The top unit has two side cupboards with sliding doors and an internal shelf, with a shelving unit in the centre with a fixed shelf. 

Underneath there is a long adjustable shelf.  Please note the slight bow to the shelf which does not reduce its functionality or detract from the overall appearance.

At the base is a deeper unit, again with two cupboards at each side and a chest of three drawers in the centre.  

The piece has been beautifully refinished and each section has been stripped of its original finish, sanded back and refinished in a durable satin lacquer adding a luxurious sheen to the overall piece.

Designed and manufactured by Avalon Furniture, one of the most successful British furniture manufacturers of the 20th century.  These double-width modular units are rare to find in today's market and thus an investment piece with years of use ahead.  The storage of more than two sideboards in one space.
