Mid century 1960s teak and beech compact desk by Schreiber
A compact desk with storage for the modern home worker, fitting neatly into a corner or alcove. It also has a show back so can be positioned in an open plan space
Made by Schreiber furniture in the 1960s, it is a rare find and perfect for someone looking for a stylish and unique desk. Built from teak and beech, the original finish was teak laminate veneer which has been stripped back and refinished for a more natural appearance. The drawer pulls, edging and tapered legs are in beech and the laminate top has been resprayed in black for a durable finish to work on.
The legs can be coloured black to match the top. Just select the option at checkout.
The desk contains three deep drawers and an open storage section on the left, ideal for storing journals or books. The legs are removable for easy handling.
This beautiful desk would also be ideal as a crafting or writing station.
Thoughtfully designed and well constructed, this desk has everything to offer for modern living/workspaces.
Materials: Teak veneer, beech (laminate and veneer), laminate top with black lacquer finish.
