Retro 1970's Danish tapestry of two peacocks in a gold frame.
This impressive and beautiful tapestry was sourced in Denmark and is of Scandinavian origin. It depicts two large peacocks in yellow and brown in front of an orange and brown arch, surrounded by floral motifs in the same colourway. It would create a stunning focal art work over a mantlepiece or in an entranceway.
Very much in keeping with Seventies' Bohemian interiors. The large geometric and symmetrical pattern on a background of dark brown is both warm and striking. A stunning example of Danish folk art.
