A standout set of four tall ladderback dining chairs, designed by R.A Bird for the G-Plan Fresco range in the 1970s.  The frames are built from solid Afromosia and, typical of Fresco designs, are gently curved to accentuate the rich wood tones and add elegance of shape to create a uniquely British mid century style.  The G-plan Fresco range was G-plan's most successful range ever and it is no surprise looking at this attractive set of dining chairs.  

Newly reupholstered in black vinyl and professionally refinished, this is a quality set of dining chairs with many more years of use to come.

Condition: Excellent original condition and professionally refinished with newly reupholstered vinyl and replacement seatpads.  There may be some very slight age-related marks which do not detract from the overall appearance.
