This exquisite vintage ceramic lamp was produced in the 1960s and 70s by Maria Philippi of Soholm Keramik.
Philippi worked with Soholm in 1962-1964 and the Nordlys range (Northern Lights) is her most recognized range, blending gorgeous deep blue and brown gloss glaze.
A beautiful lamp on its own or as a complement to other Blue range Soholm ceramics.
Soholm Ceramics of Bornholm are one of Denmark's most renowned Mid Century producers and their Stentøj (Stoneware) ranges from the 1960s onward make them highly collectible and durable, retaining the quality of form and glaze. Stamped with maker's mark.
